The Toronto Digital Photography Club (formerly the Toronto Guild for Photographic Art) was originally established in 1947 under the name Toronto Guild for Colour Photography. This camera club is one of Canada’s premier camera clubs. It is also one of the oldest camera clubs in Toronto. It is home to many talented and successful photographers, both amateur and professional. Regardless of your level of expertise, membership in our camera club offers you many opportunities to improve your photography and to meet like-minded people. |
The camera club meetings are held on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday from September to April, starting at 7:30 p.m., at the Lansing United Church, 49 Bogert Road; a very short walk from the Yonge & Sheppard subway line. |
Competitions for prints, digital images and photo essays are held throughout the camera club year.
This provides an opportunity to obtain constructive suggestions from experienced judges for improving your images.
All entries for competitions (excluding photo- essays) are to be uploaded to: competitions upload |

Are small, informal groups that meet in members homes. They provide an opportunity for low-key, friendly feedback on members images. |
On weekends, evenings and overnight, camera club Outings provide an opportunity to enjoy photography, socialize, and learn from more experienced members. |
From within the camera club, or invited from the photographic industry, speakers share their work and techniques with members at meetings and workshops. This also provides an opportunity to learn about and practice photographic techniques. |
Clinics for prints and digital images are held throughout the camera club year. Members submit entries for judging by experienced judges who also
offer comments on how to improve the photographs. Ribbons are awarded to the images earning the highest marks in each division (novice, intermediate and advanced). Entries to the clinics are to be
uploaded to: clinics upload |
